Cedar by Arboreal AI (“Cedar,” “we,” “us”) is a daily wellness check-in service delivered via SMS. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
When you sign up and use Cedar, we collect:
We use your data to:
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
Our public web pages use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to measure generic page activity — for example, that a page was visited. These record standard technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address, along with which advertising campaign brought you to us if you arrived from an ad. These tools never receive your name, phone number, email, intake answers, or your Cedar conversations.
Your phone number is used only to deliver Cedar check-in messages. We send messages through Twilio, our SMS provider, which processes your phone number solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
Your conversations are private. Designated team members at Arboreal AI may review conversations to fix issues and improve Cedar, but access is kept minimal and internal. We will never share your conversations with another company.
We keep your data as long as you use Cedar. If you want your data deleted, email [email protected] and we’ll remove it within 30 days.
Reply STOP to any Cedar message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for support. You can also email [email protected].
If we make meaningful changes, we’ll let you know via text or email. The effective date at the top tells you when this version took effect.
